Written in 2024:

Our world changed dramatically over the past 4 years. Life moves faster. Time does not creep up, it passes us by. Our daily lives are filled with dramatically more than when we grew up, regardless of generation. And… most critically, we as a society, have forgotten how to talk to one another. We bury ourselves in our phones and we forget the importance to look up and take in the wonderful society and world we have around us.

Our children are the ones who will deal with the decisions we make now. We, in turn, need to think deeper and make sure we are creating a better world for them to live in. The only way we can protect our children is to get involved. Regardless if it is on a large scale or in a smaller way… It will matter. I am living proof. Whether it be protecting citizens by working directly with the Governor of New Jersey to get 206 back on track, protect country roads from massive trucks, to ensuring that our budget protects taxpayer dollars, to enhancing our social services organization, to showing children that the police are there to help and protect, to protecting the Township land from overdevelopment, to ensuring our recreation offerings reach all who want to participate … It all matters… And I can proudly say I am standing in front of the problems.

I less than 2 short years I went from a Dad and Husband who got involved in local issues, now I have grown into a position where I have immense responsibility to help people who need it. This is the greatest job I could have. My intention to be deeply involved in my local surroundings is to protect my children’s future and make sure they have a beautiful place to come to when they grow up. I also value the relationships I had with my grandparents and family members who passed on. Those relationships imprinted on me and influence me to place special attention to the senior population that I serve. I love what I do.

I truly love people. It is that simple.
